Kringle Anyone?

I decided to tackle making Kringle for the first time for general conference weekend. I have made it with my mom before but never all by myself. I could not have been more pleased when I was finally finished. (It takes about 4 hours to make) It didn't turn out quite like mom's but close enough ;) I will have to practice again so that I can make a wonderful one for Christmas.

A closer look: A layered pastry filled with an almond paste, butter, & raisin mixture. Topped with almond slices & sugar. Yummy! Takes me home :)
