Productivity Makes Me Happy!
So after having a successful morning at being productive I almost posted on fb when I realized A) nobody cares, B) nobody needs to know about the insignificant daily details of my life & C) that's what blogging is for :) This is just a reminder to myself that being productive makes me feel so much better than being lazy. I just had this overwhelming Ahhhhh feeling after realizing at 11:30 that I had a clean house, updated all of my blogs, got dinner in the crock pot, birthday cakes baking in the oven, finished an Easter craft with Teagie, got a free years subscription to Rachael Ray magazine, and started getting ready to make fondant and Kringle for conference weekend all while being dressed for the day with hair and makeup done. I just love that feeling of accomplishment rather than what I have on the days when I'm in my jammies most of the morning or worse when I can't even remember what I actually got done during the day.
Spring Break
It's been awhile since Dustin and I have been able to enjoy a spring break so we decided to have some fun with the one we had this year. We first went to Minneapolis to see the Mall of America and the other sites. We had a great time with our friends Drew & Mckenzie and it was nice getting away from Fargo for a few days. The weather was wonderful which made up for the girl scout extravaganza at the mall. I've never seen so many girl scouts in one place before! Since the mall was so crowded we decided to spend more time doing things like eating famous Juicy Lucys, visiting a cute children's bookstore called Wild Rumpus, and stopping at Whole Foods and the outlets on the way home. Oh and I can't forget to mention the crazy guy at the hotel hot tub that said he was an MMA fighter and forced Dustin to feel the scars on his head. I was impressed to see how patient Dustin was with him especially since he liked to invade personal space. Oh the memories :) Our second stop during our break was the Fargo Air Museum. Teagen had a wonderful time seeing all of the cool planes, jets and helicopters. Definitely a boy!

Remember When...

I found him next to a suspicious puddle while rifling through the food cupboards. Love that he stripped off everything except for the headband he found. Even now I can't stop laughing about it. |

Booking it before I could redress him. He was such a fast little guy! |

Our Love For Scheels
Fargo has one of the coolest places, Scheels! We first went to the store just to look around and discovered how many things they have to do for fun and for cheap. Teagen now calls it "my Scheels" and knows exactly where it is when we are driving around. They have a huge Ferris wheel, playplace style kid area, shooting range, and simulated everything from golf, nascar, etc. I'm not trying to be their blogging advertisement or anything but we just love the place. We don't ever buy anything but have hopes to someday ;)

Beauty School Anyone?
I unfortunately am not cut out for playing family hair stylist because the following is what happens. You would think I would learn my lesson but I never do :) I have finally put the clippers in the bathroom where I will not be getting them out again.

Right before Christmas. It looks like I was trying to carve a snake in there. Poor Teagie! |
